When it comes to Pizza, I prefer the original neapolitan one. A good dough, some fruity tomato sauce and a bit of mozzarella di buffala topped with some good olive oil and I’m happy. The very best Pizza I ate was by Rossopomodoro at EXPO 2015 in Milan, but who can actually travel to Italy all the time just to have a delicious Pizza? Luckily the Pizza by my favourite Pizzeria, Cirillo Trattoria Pizzeria in Friedrichshafen, comes very close.
Owned by Italians and cooked the real Italian way Cirillo in Friedrichshafen is a small place for good and authentic Italian food. I can’t count the times I’ve been eating at this
restaurant Trattoria but it was many, and I haven’t regret any of them. My favourite dish is Pizza – Pizza Margherita or Pizza Funghi with Mushrooms – followed by Pasta – the classic way with pure tomato sauce or with green pesto – and sometimes I have a salad as a side dish. The prices are reasonable with most dishes starting at 6 or 8 euros and I heard you can have some good meat there as well. The products are imported from Italy on a weekly basis, so you can be sure you’re just eating the best of Italy. The facilities of Pizzeria Cirillo in Friedrichshafen are basic but typical Italian with checked tablecloth and a Vespa in the corner. During the warmer months, you can enjoy your food outside, or of course inside as well.
