Maritim Hafenhotel Rheinsberg in Brandenburg

Have you ever had a private house by the water, as a Hotel Room? Sounds weird, but incredible? You’re right, but also absolutely amazing! Maritim Hafenhotel Rheinsberg in Brandenburg in northern Germany was one of the most amazing Hotels I ever stayed in. Usually, you have a Room that might be smaller or bigger, and sometimes you even have a nice view. But I definitely did not expect Maritim Hafenhotel Rheinsberg to be this memorable.

In total, there are 176 rooms available at the Maritim Hafenhotel Rheinsberg, of which 24 are ‘Island Suites’ with private jetties and terraces. The Location of the Hotel is very idyllic and at some areas, you can be happy if you have edge connection on your Phone. As soon as you leave the Hotel area (towards the City Center of Rheinsberg) you have LTE 4G connection again. Unfortunately, the WiFi Connection isn’t that good either so you can definitely disconnect and focus on relaxation away from Smartphones and Laptops.

The Island Suites are located on the islands in front of the main building of the Hotel. Not every of the Houses is operated by Maritim Hotels, the others are privately owned and partly available as holiday apartments. If Hotel Room or Hotel House, the features are all about the same. The Bathrooms are equipped with a Hairdryer, shower and separate bathtub, the rooms itself with a Minibar, an own Safe, Telephone, TV and Internet Access. Additionally, my 60 qm2 large house had a separate toilet on the first floor, and another one inside the bathroom on the second floor.
When entering the Island Suite Hotel House you have hooks for jackets, followed by a working table and a cupboard with a kettle including tea bags and instant coffee. Now you are already entering the living room with a comfortable couch and a rather small TV, the only TV. With a view like this, a furnished terrace with lounge chairs and the water with a private boat dock just nearby, you actually don’t need television. A staircase only leads you to the second floor, that is separated in the large bathroom and the bedroom with a balcony. In between both you can find the wardrobe. Food is served in the main House, I had Lunch and Dinner there. My vegetarian options were all delicious, you can find Pictures of them below. Besides the bad internet connection, I absolutely enjoyed my one-night stay at Maritim Hafenhotel Rheinsberg in Brandenburg.
By the way, the doors of the lighthouse are open and if you fancy you can climb it for another view on the big area.
