Alta is a Gateway to the North Cape, the ‘touristy’ most northern Point on both Europe and Norway. Located not too far from Alta Airport the Hotel is a great choice if you have a late arrival or early departure. Some Hotel Rooms have even a view on the Northern Lights Cathedral, the biggest one in Town and this picturesque church is also often visited by North Cape Travellers. SCANDIC is originally a Scandinavian Hotel Group, expanding more and more into other Countries and Markets. More north, just less than half an hour from the Nordkapp, I also stayed at SCANDIC Bryggen in Honningsvåg.
