BORN 8 Restaurant in Palma de Mallorca

BORN 8 Restaurant is located in the City Center of Palma, at the popular shopping street Passeig del Born. Offering smaller to bigger dishes BORN 8 is perfect for lunch, snacks or dinner. Or just a Café con leche in between. I went to the Restaurant near the famous La Seu, Palma Cathedral, in the early noon. Surprisingly the tables inside were all almost empty and I was free to choose where to sit. There is no menu online, I haven’t found one, but at the entrance there is the menu in spanish and english as well.

On a gloomy Day in Palma de Mallorca I ordered the Crema Calabaza, a Pumpkin and Carrot Soup. The male waiter was very friendly and spoke english, a female waitress seemed not very well with english. As I’ve noticed another woman ordered an ‘iced coffee’ and she brought a simple and hot cappuccino as she did not understand what she was saying… nevertheless, my Soup arrived soon. Even though it was a rather smaller portion for a price of 7,50€ it was very good, and the bread was fresh and very tasty. The Soup was more a Crema as it was thicker than regular soup, so nice.
I really enjoyed my lunch visit to BORN 8 Restaurant in Palma de Mallorca and I’ll be definitely back, also to try one of the so good looking cakes and desserts that are on display. For the ‘better days’ there are seats outside at the Passeig as well.
