Churreria Casa Aranda in Malaga

Churreria Casa Aranda in Malaga

Casa Aranda in Malaga is meant to be one of the best Churrerias. Casa Aranda is an authentic Place to enjoy the Spanish Churros, one of the best in Malaga at Costa del Sol! Located closely to the Market Hall the Churreria is situated very central in Malaga Centro. There are plenty of seats outside, and some inside as well. When I went to Casa Aranda at around 9 am on a Saturday there were just a few others there, and the Service was very attentive and fast. Of course, I went for some Churros and a Hot Chocolate, and a Fresh Orange Juice. The normal Portion for Churros is 2 to 3 per Person, I took just two. As there were just a few others, mainly some elderly people who were dipping the Churros into their Coffees, I received my Order within no Time. Casa Aranda dates back to 1932, therefore the Interior inside was very Vintage and charming.

It was definitely new to me to dip Churros, which I already knew from international Fun Fairs, into Hot Chocolate. For Breakfast. Of course, I gave it a try and it was very good. The puffy Churro just soaked up the creamy chocolate. As each of the Churro Pieces were quite long it was easy to dip and eat it, besides the Fat. As Churros are baked in Fat, both my Churros were still very fatty and soon after my fingers were fully covered in fatty liquids. No, Churros are no healthy kind of Breakfast! But for this one time, and on holidays, it was okay.

The Churros and the Hot Chocolate at Churreria Casa Aranda in Malaga were very tasty, even if it was strange to me to eat them for Breakfast. As they are heavy in fat they are definitely nothing you should enjoy on a daily basis, for breakfast – but now and then they are just so good. I can’t wait to try them again anytime I’m back in Malaga at Costa del Sol!
