Dinner at Rizzi Restaurant Baden-Baden

Did you know people travel far distances just to enjoy the Oysters at Rizzi Restaurant Baden-Baden? Well, I did not know either, until I had a quick chat with the nice people sitting at the table next to me. They know how to treat themselves good, and a good meal with bubbly drinks in Baden-Baden is their indulgement. And yeah, I can totally understand them. Even though I have ever only visited Rizzi Baden-Baden during SWR3 New Pop Festival, which transforms the city into a very busy place, but with so much energy and good music all around, therefore I don’t know how your Restaurant experience at Rizzi Baden-Baden is during regular times.

As I went to have Dinner at Rizzi Restaurant Baden-Baden in a smaller group during the Festival, we had a set menu in the late afternoon. Dinner started off with some complimentary bread and olive oil to dig in. I always hear carbs and bread are so bad for you, but I just love to dip some homemade and fresh bread into good quality olive oil, seasoned with freshly ground sea salt and black pepper. I could only have this for an entire meal if all the ingredients are good, and they definitely are at Rizzi in Baden-Baden. But luckily soon the first course arrived, the Salad “Rizzi” arrived. Seasonal summer salads with French dressing, grilled scampi and datterino tomatoes with parmesan cheese cracks on top. What a first, delicious, meal. My vegetarian main course was neither disappointing, consisting of sauteed mushrooms and green veggies with quinoa. For their current menu, I’d recommend a look at their website, but I only found the menu in German language here. For a luxurious dining experience I can definitely recommend RIZZI the Restaurant in Baden-Baden, but be aware that alone the salad costs 18€, and one oyster, fresh from a market in Paris, 4€ each.
