Marriott Grand Hotel Flora Rome

Marriott Grand Hotel Flora Rome

If you are looking for a Hotel that offers the elegant Dolce Vita Charm, then Marriott Grand Hotel Flora Rome is the right choice for you. Located on top the noble Via Veneto Shopping Street and close to the Villa Borghese Garden the Hotel in the heart of Rome is an ideal hub for your stay in the eternal City.

When I arrived at the Hotel I was immediately in “Holiday mode” as the weather was super sunny and the architecture and interior of the Hotel made everything in the Moment just so perfect. The Check-In went fast and via an elevator, I reached my Hotel room in just no time. While the rooms on the front side of the Hotel might be more popular with some guests personally I really enjoyed having one on the side of the Hotel, with a view on the 2000 years old historic Roman walls. It was no busy street at all, but I could follow the Italian street-life a bit by watching the waiting taxi Drivers – and if you’ve ever driven a Taxi in any bigger Italian City you know that most of the Italian taxi Drivers are crazy. My double room was even a bit too big for just me and for one night, by the dimensions, so I’d say that I’d still feel comfortable with another Person with me in the room. Besides a TV the Room is equipped with an air-condition and a Minibar. Luckily the WiFi as free to use and even quite fast, neither in the Room or in the lobby I had any Problems accessing it.

The only negative thing about my stay at Marriott Grand Hotel Flora Rome was that I stayed there for just one night. Even if you are no breakfast kind of Person, you have to go to the Terrace, the Flora Roof Top, where Breakfast is served, to enjoy an incredible view over Villa Borghese and some parts of the City. Just sit there, on top of everything, sip a fresh Cappuccino and bite in a Cornetto (Italian Croissant) and enjoy the Moment.

Close to the Hotel there is, as you can already overview from the Top of the Marriott Grand Hotel Flora Rome, the Villa Borghese Garden. In a distance of about 350 meter there is the Hard Rock Café Rome and in a little over 1 km you are at the Spanish Steps and the Piazza di Spagna. The closest Metro Station to the Marriott Grand Hotel Flora Rome is ‘Spagna’.
