The combination of an Automobile AND Fashion Museum is just genius and can be enjoyed at Museo Automovilistico de Málaga in Malaga. Vintage and Classic Cars, each paired with a nice Dress or Outfit. Learn about the Time back then, how they used to drive, how they used to Dress. Museo Automovilistico de Málaga in Malaga is situated in the old Royal Tobacco Factory of Malaga a little outside the City Center of Malaga. The Museum is open every day from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 7 pm. The Automobile Museum opened first in 2010.

My favorite Cars at Museo Automovilistico de Málaga in Malaga were the ones at the very beginning, and the smallest ones. When Cars were something revolutionary and the focus was more on Design and Functionality than on much hp and speed, like nowadays.
The Exhibition is divided in each different times or Themes. The first of them is Belle Epoque, among the exhibited Cars are a Minervette (Belgium-1904), a Delage (France-1910) or a Hupmobile (USA-1912). This epoch is followed by the glorious Golden 20’s with a Hispano Suiza (Spain-1917), a Nash (USA-1930) or a Studebaker (USA-1931). Cars such as a Mercedes 540k (Germany-1937), a Bugatti (France-1936) or a Rolls-Royce Phantom III (England-1936) can be found in the Art Decó Collection. What can’t be missed are the Popular Cars, displaying some of my personal favorites, the Fuldamobile (Germany-1955), a Velorex (Czechoslovakia-1963) and the original Fiat 500 (Italy-1936). Another area at Museo Automovilístico de Malaga are the Design Cars and Dream Cars, with exhibited models like a Lancia Astura (Italy-1938), a Kaiser Darrin (USA-1954) or a Cadillac “ElDorado” (USA-1959) and a Excalibur (USA-1985). Another personal Highlight were the Alternative Engines Vehicles. And I even fell in Love, with the grey Milburn Electric Model 22 Brougham from 1916. This Electric Car already had back then a range of 80 km and unfortunately, it was just way ahead of Time. Another Vehicles on display with alternative engines are the Solar World (2009) or the Stantley Steamer – Steam Car (USA-1910). The Tour through the Museum continues to the English Tradition Cars, with a Rolls-Royce Phantom V “Flower Power” (England-1968) or a Bentley MKV (England-1948). Before the last Cars, the Tuning Cars with (horrible) examples of a Ford V8 (USA-1934) and other models, you get to discover some Dolce Vita. Among these ‘toy Cars’ are a Delahye (France-1952), a Mercedes SL300 (Germany-1956) or a Ferrari (Italy-1956).
As Museo Automovilistico de Málaga is such a cool Place it’s even possible to get married there!

The regular Ticket Price at Museo Automovilistico is 7,50 € for adults, reduced it’s 5,50 €. The reduced-Price applies to Residents of the city of Málaga, students, seniors over 65 years old, large families (identification), unemployed (identification) or groups of special protection. Kids under the age of 3 are free. A true highlight and absolutely included in the Ticket Price is “1, 2, 3, Let’s Get Started!” every Sunday up from 12:30 for about one hour. Several Cars will be awakened to life and you can listen to the roaring engines of the past. You can hear some engines even from the outside.. don’t miss it and Museo Automovilistico!

As there are almost 100 Cars on exhibition at Museo Automovilistico de Malaga I simply could not take a picture of every single Car, and post them here. Below you find a video, to get a glimpse on how the Automobile and Fashion Museum in Malaga looks like. Followed by a few pictures taken at the Museum (55 in total).
