The nature reserve Mehrerauer Lakeshore – Bregenzerachmündung is situated between Bregenz, the monastery Mehrerau, and the Bregenz Ach near Hard. An ideal area for a walk in nature. Below is the route of my evening walk, as well as some impressions. Since part of the way runs directly through a forest and is also generally “in nature”, it is recommended to spray the body beforehand with appropriate insect repellent – unless you also want more than a dozen bites 😉
In the nature reserve around Mehrerauer Seeufer there Numerous official barbecue areas, perfect for a relaxing summer evening with friends and family, to end the day. With a direct view of Lake Constance with the setting sun, which seems to be set right behind the lake.
