Scheduled for 25th-26th October and 1st-2nd November 2025, this autumnal celebration is a true highlight for food lovers and families alike.

Volterragusto is renowned for showcasing local Tuscan excellence, with a particular focus on the prized white truffle and other typical products from the Alta Val di Cecina region. The event also hosts the traditional Palio dei Caci, a historic cheese rolling race, adding a unique local touch. Visitors can explore numerous exhibition and tasting areas, set in iconic Volterra locations like Piazza dei Priori, Palazzo Pretorio, and Palazzo Viti’s cellars. Here, small artisan producers offer an array of cheeses, cured meats, chocolates, wines, and more, promising a delightful culinary journey.

Beyond the gourmet offerings, the programme is packed with cultural activities. Expect historical parades, flag-waver performances, guided tours, and hands-on workshops.
