Approaching the EXPO 2016 area in Antalya the first thing you see is the 100.7 meter high Turkcell Tower. Already impressive during the day it looks even more stunning when it’s illuminated during the evening and night. EXPO 2016 in Antalya is a world exhibition in terms of Nature, culture and both education and entertainment. This year’s Motto is “A Green World for the Future Generations“. Not only Turkey is exhibiting, but over 40 Countries from all over the world have their own pavilions and areas. During my visit to the Qatar Pavilion, I got to see a Desert Rose for the first time, or immerse in an authentic Chinese garden in the Chinese area. EXPO is scheduled to be open in Antalya until the 30th of October 2016. Afterwards, the area will be obtained for further, smaller, Events and for the public in general.

Besides the exhibitions themselves, there are numerous concerts taking place on the main stage, like Maroon 5, Afrojack, or Sting and the magician Peter Marvey.
