Guided Tour at Fragonard Perfumery – The Èze factory near Monaco / Nice

The Cote d Azure is pure paradise. Judging not only the stunning landscape and views it creates, the south of France is also a great breeding ground for plants. The most famous plant might be lavender, growing wild and in farms, only framing the picturesque scenery even more. Creating perfumes is the ideal option to preserve the precious scents. With the world-famous town of Grasse not too far, tourists can learn already a lot about scents and perfumes not far both Monaco and Nice. I have visited Fragonard Perfumery – The Èze factory, also known as Fragonard L’Usine Laboratoire Eze Village as a group and enjoyed a free guided tour. Those are available all year round, always free, but you need to make a registration and reservation beforehand. The Fragonard L’Usine perfume laboratory in the charming town of Eze is open every day of the year, also on Sundays and public holidays, from 9 am to 6 pm. During the diverting tour, you will learn a lot about the perfume, soap and cosmetics factory equipped with the most modern laboratories and studios. After the visit, there is also a possibility to buy some of the products by Fragonard. As I didn’t buy anything I can’t say more about the prices, and if they are cheaper/more expensive, than in other stores or at Nice Airport. But of course, it sounds better to say “I bought it straight at the factory”, than “I grabbed it in the last seconds before boarding my flight” 😉

Address: 158 Avenue de Verdun, 06360 Èze Village, France
