Looking for a quick snack in the Hafencity / Speicherstadt in Hamburg? How about fresh sushi. Inside the EDEKA Markt Böcker you can find a station by eat Happy, a solely for takeaway sushi snack bar in Hamburg. There are plenty of varieties, such as mixed plates for one or bigger plates more people. Everything is freshly prepared on site, which is easily to observe in the mornings. As a vegetarian, this time I opted for the Maki Gurke with Cucumber (vegan) as a quick snack. The box costs 3.55 euros and, in addition to the sushi rolls, also contains yellow ginger, wasabi and soy sauce, each individually packed. Separate Dips are also available at eat happy, so I also opted for a small 50 ml container of Teriyaki sauce.
Whenever I’m in Hamburg, I usually always have at least one box of sushi by eat happy in the Edeka Markt in the Hafencity, and have always been convinced of the quality and taste- absolutely recommendable!

[…] Due to the current Corona protection regulations, however, the space available at Gong in Hamburg is very limited. If you don’t book early to take advantage of the unique all-you-can-eat sushi per tablet offer, you’ll have to order your sushi to go. But here’s the kicker: if you book in advance by phone, you can order the sushi in returnable or disposable containers. With returnable containers, it costs an extra 10 Euros per plate and is served on plates that are visually more beautiful than disposable dishes.
