Exploring Palma, the capital of the Balearic island of Majorca, felt very nice. The atmosphere of the City was like a mix of Venice and some Spanish small town to me. Nice and old architecture, nice restaurants and shops, and the nice feeling that most cities next to the water with harbors and tourists have. Unfortunately, the sun wasn’t shining when I went for a 2-hour Trip to Palma de Mallorca, and it was even raining a bit from time to time. Due to this, and quite some tourists with the same idea of visiting La Seu Cathedral in Palma, I skipped my plans and spent my time mostly strolling around and at Passeig del Born Shopping Street. I got one piece of clothing at ZARA, could not find anything at ZARA Home, and had a delicious Soup for Lunch at BORN 8. Nevertheless, I’ll be back in Majorca (maybe next year just before the high season starts), visit Palma again, and do the whole “must-see in Pala” things. Like visiting and climbing the astonishing La Seu Cathedral by Gaudi, visiting museums and the market and just exploring more.
Among the Towns I’ve visited on Majorca so far Cala d’Or with Cala Ferrera was my favorite. From my Hotel, Robinson Club Cala Serena in Cala d’Or, I took a public Bus to the Center of Palma, more on the Hotel and public transport on Majorca soon.
