Audi Q4 e-tron Electric Car | Test Drive Review

The Audi Q4 e-tron is a brand-new electric SUV that has recently hit the market. It is the first compact electric SUV from the Audi brand and is expected to compete with other popular electric SUVs like the Tesla Model Y and the Ford Mustang Mach-E. Recently, I had the opportunity to test drive the Audi Q4 electric car and wanted to share my thoughts with you. In total, I drove almost 520 km over the course of an extended weekend trip. The routes included the German Autobahn with its unlimited roads, as well as speed-limited country roads, traffic jams and inner-city traffic. In total, I, only, had an overall consumption of 17,7 kw/h which is considered good.

Test Drive: Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron

Exterior Design

The Audi Q4 has a sleek and modern design that is sure to turn heads. The car’s body is well-proportioned and the LED headlights and taillights add a touch of sophistication. The car’s 19-inch wheels give it a sporty look.

Interior Design

The interior of the Audi Q4 is spacious and comfortable. The car has a minimalist design with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display, with which you control most of the car’s functions. The seats are comfortable and offer ample legroom. The car’s panoramic sunroof adds to the overall spaciousness of the interior. Overall, the interior is spacious and luxurious with a minimalist dashboard and advanced technology features.

Performance

One of the most impressive aspects of the Q4 Sportback e-tron is its power and performance. The Audi Q4 e-tron is powered by an 82kWh battery that provides a range of up to 323 miles on a single charge. The car’s electric motor produces 302 horsepower and can go from 0 to 100 kmh / 60 mph in just 6.3 seconds. The Audi Q4 e-tron is providing smooth and quick acceleration, just as you’d expect from a German luxury car. The car’s handling is smooth and responsive, making it a joy to drive.

In terms of handling, the Q4 e-tron has a low centre of gravity due to the placement of the battery, which makes the SUV feel very stable and sowed on the road. The steering is responsive and the suspension provides a comfortable ride even on bumpy roads. It also has a range of up to 528 km or 250 miles on a single charge, making it a great option for long road trips.

Charging

The Audi Q4 e-tron can be charged at home using a 240-volt Level 2 charger or at a public charging station. The car’s battery, if it is an Audi Q4 40 e-tron, can be charged up from 5 % to 80% in just 29 minutes using a fast charger.

Safety

The Audi Q4 e-tron comes with a host of safety features, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking. The car’s 360-degree camera system provides excellent visibility and makes parking a breeze a safe and reliable choice for families.
