Banksy “Love is in the Bin” in Stuttgart

The shredded picture “Love is in the Bin” by the cult artist with the pseudonym Banksy caused quite a stir at his auction in October 2018. The said picture was first shown publicly in Stuttgart, since March 2019 in the Stuttgart State Gallery. But only up to this Sunday, February 2, 2020! If you want to see and inspect “Love is in the bin” yourself, the shredded girl with balloon picture, you should hurry up. And bring some waiting time, because the two highlights that expire this Sunday are very popular.

The special exhibition on the Italian artist Tiepolo (Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, Venetian painter) also runs until February 2nd. The Banksy is situated in the regular permanent exhibition, on the first floor straight ahead and to the right – right there at the crowd 😉. A visit to the Stuttgart State Gallery is definitely worth it, apart from the one Banksy. The collection also includes works by Picasso, Degas, Cézanne, Gauguin, Renoir, Monet, Slevogt, Luca Giordano and many other artists. Admission to the permanent exhibition is 7 euros for adults, and the State Gallery is open until 10 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday.

By the way: Photographing the Banksy is allowed, you can use the hashtag #visitbanksy to share it on social networks.
