From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was impressed by its luxurious ambience and attention to detail. The hotel’s public spaces were a pleasure to explore, with unique art installations and comfortable seating areas to relax and unwind.

staying at the Conservatorium Hotel Amsterdam

The location of the Conservatorium Hotel is superb. It is situated in the heart of Amsterdam’s Museum Quarter, within walking distance of major attractions such as the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, and Vondelpark. The hotel itself is housed in a beautifully restored 19th-century building that seamlessly blends historic architecture with contemporary design elements. Originally the building was designed by Dutch architect Daniël Knuttel, and built in 1897. The former Postbank building is still a remarkable mixture of neo-Gothic and Art Nouveau styles.

Deluxe Guest Room

The room I stayed in was absolutely stunning. It was spacious, elegantly furnished, and featured modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV, a Nespresso coffee machine, and a well-stocked minibar. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was luxurious with a rain shower and high-quality toiletries. The attention to detail in the room’s design was evident, with thoughtfully chosen artwork and lighting that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. According to the Conservatorium Website, the rooms “are 36 m² and are well laid out and spacious in size”.

Review: Can I recommend a stay at the Conservatorium Amsterdam?

One of the highlights of my stay was the service at the Conservatorium Hotel. The staff were friendly, professional, and always went the extra mile to ensure that I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. They were knowledgeable about the local area and provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities. The concierge was particularly helpful in arranging tickets to museums and assisting with transportation arrangements.

The hotel’s facilities were also top-notch. The spa and wellness centre, Akasha Holistic Wellbeing, was a haven of relaxation with its serene atmosphere and range of treatments. The fitness centre was well-equipped with modern equipment and offered a variety of exercise options. The hotel’s restaurants and bars were also exceptional, serving delicious cuisine and crafted cocktails in stylish settings.

My stay at the Conservatorium Hotel Amsterdam was nothing short of exceptional, even though it was actually short due to a one-night stay in the city. The hotel’s prime location, luxurious accommodations, impeccable service, and outstanding facilities made it a truly memorable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a sophisticated and indulgent stay in Amsterdam. Definitely a recommendable Hotel in Amsterdam.
