Museumplein is one of the main sights in Amsterdam. All the big museums are situated along this Museum Square. In the middle, there is water, some sports areas, and a huge grass field for people to chill and relax. During the Day, and especially in the summer season, there are many tourists around. As I assume not every one of them is visiting any museums around they are all around one thing. The I Amsterdam sign in front of the Rijksmuseum. People climb on it, sit inside, and take photos and selfies. The main surrounding buildings along Museumplein are the General Consulate of the United States, Concertgebouw Concert Hall, Stedelijk Museum, Van Gogh Museum, House of Bols, Diamond Museum, Coster Diamonds and Rijksmuseum. The newest addition is the Moco Museum (opened end of May 2016) with its current Banksy and Warhol Exhibition.
A great invention at Museumplein Amsterdam is the Museum Food Stands. If you’re looking for Drinks or a quick bite, I can highly recommend Kiosk Rembrandt Van Gogh and their soft ice cream.
