- 1 tsp green pesto (store bought)
- 1 tbsp vinegar (balsamic vinegar)
- 1 tbsp water
- salt, pepper, garlic and chili to season
- eventually a pinch of sugar if balsamic is too strong for you

You can literally prepare this Green Pesto Vinaigrette Dressing in less than 1 minute, track your time if you have enough spare time to do so! 😉 First off, the mentioned ingredients above are for about one portion. It definitely also depends on what kind of salad you want to enjoy, and if you like your salad more drenched in dressing, or just slightly touched by it. Just customize it yourself depending on your preferences.
First, add 1 teaspoon of store-bought green pesto genovese into your mixing glass. Add one tablespoon of black balsamic vinegar, and mix with one tablespoon of tap water. Stir well until everything is well combined. Taste the vinaigrette dressing and finish off with additional seasoning such as pepper, salt, garlic and chili. If the sauce might be a bit too sour for your taste, because of the vinegar, you might want to add a small pinch of sugar. Additional olive oil is not necessary for this dressing, as the green pesto is already pre-prepared with oil. Serve your Green Pesto Salad Dressing right away or keep it chilled until served with a salad or veggies of your choice.
