Witnessing Kangaroos in Canberra has been an absolute goal for my Trip to the Australian capital city. I will never forget the moment I’ve seen a real Kangaroo for the very first time. Getting so close to the national symbol of Australia was more than stunning, yet as I did not know how this precious creature might react. All the pictures of boxing kangaroos might look funny, but there lies some truth inside. Kangaroos can become quite defensive when they feel attacked when you get too close. Therefore, rather play it safe if you are lucky enough to see Kangaroos in Canberra, and don’t get too close too fast. Especially if it’s a mother with her kid. Mums can get furious, even as Kangaroo mothers 😉
