Michelin Star Top Air Restaurant Stuttgart Airport

Michelin Top Air Restaurant Stuttgart Airport - JoyDellaVita.com

Enjoying a meal at a Michelin-starred Restaurant, at an Airport. This sounds so strange, but in Stuttgart it’s possible! I bet you have already bought Food at an Airport, or even went to an Airport Restaurant. Let’s be honest, I assume it wasn’t much of a Joy!? Airport Food is there to feed your Appetite, but not necessarily your pleasure of eating and enjoying the Food. In Stuttgart, you can find Restaurant Top Air in the public area, on the 4th level of Terminal 1 (one level up from departure). Led by renowned Chef Marco Akuzun the Restaurant is open for Lunch and Dinner. As the Restaurant is not open every day you should check out the opening hours below. For a nice atmosphere, I’d recommend to visit it for Dinner, just as I did. The Location of the Top Air Restaurant in Stuttgart is not much of a coincide, as you have a full Airport Apron view. Watching planes come and by, takeout and landing, much nature in the near far as a nice backdrop and eventually the dark coming in, beforehand with a nice sunset. All while enjoying a meal, that looks like pure art.

Dining at Top Air Restaurant in Stuttgart, at Stuttgart Airport, has been incredible. As part of a set group menu, mostly all dishes contained either fish or meat. No option for me as a vegetarian. Of course, I got my own dishes, meat free. Everything started with an Amuse Bouche, a greeting from the Chef. Variations of cucumber and seaweed. Honestly, If I’d have read this on the menu, I don’t think that I’d have ordered it. But wow, what was I astonished when it arrived. A truly picture perfect dish, meant to be photographed to be forever remembered. Next was the Starter, variations of the Carotte. Another stunningly decorated and delicious meal. The main course, however, was a bit of a downer. It was supposed to be Risotto, however, I got some uber sour Rice (?) with chanterelles and two uncooked poached eggs. Even the tasty bread and creamy nut butter couldn’t help my vegetarian main dish. The menu was closed with variations of melon, which my taste buds again highly appreciated. Out of 4 courses, 3 were absolutely stunning, and I can highly recommend Top Air Restaurant at Stuttgart Airport. For an overview of the other dishes of the well selected menu, you can check it out online here (German only).

The “Top air” is the only gourmet restaurant located in a European airport that has been awarded a Michelin Star every year since 1992. Enjoy delicious food with a very special view!Contact
