Just a stone throw off Stuttgart Train Station you find Motel One Stuttgart Mitte in the City Centre. A design budget Hotel for both business and leisure travellers. The iconic Motel One Design, with its signature turquoise color, can be found anywhere at any Motel One Hotel, which I personally really like. Thanks to that concept, design hotels are made affordable to stay. Plus, you always know how everything looks as the budget concept allows for everything to be identical, no matter in what country you stay at a Motel One.

Situated just some mere 130 meters from the entrance of Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof (which is, still, being re-build as part of S21 infrastructure project), the location of this Hotel in Stuttgart could not be better. The amenities include a 24 h reception, a free of charge luggage storage, the One Lounge with offers drinks and snacks, as well as free wifi throughout the whole hotel and, a daily “healthy” breakfast buffet with plenty of organic products and fair trade coffee. The Motel One Stuttgart Mitte does not have its own parking garage or parking spaces; it is more practical to arrive by public transport anyway. The check-in is possible from 3 pm onwards on the day of arrival, and check-out needs to be done by noon on the day of departure. Also, pets are welcome at this Motel One and children up to the age of 12 sleep for free when staying in the same room as the parents.

If you have stayed at one Motel One, you definitely know them all. But that’s the concept, and that’s amazing. Compare the pictures, but you won’t find a difference beneath having stayed at a room with king-size or queen-size beds. The differences really are that subtle. What I especially liked about my room at Motel One Stuttgart Mitte is how really close it is situated. Also, I received a room which faced the main train station, a big department store with a Rewe City supermarket, and the shopping street Lautenschlagerstraße.

Review: staying at Motel One Stuttgart Mitte

I can definitely recommend staying at this centrally located Motel One Hotel in Stuttgart. When arriving by public transportation, to Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof main station, you only have to walk a few meters until you have reached the Hotel. Also, you can easily reach some of the best attractions in Stuttgart by foot as well, such as Palace Square or various museums. When booking in advance, the prices usually stay steadily low, if there is no big event taking place, such as the famous Beer Festival Wasen.
