Parking at the mountain Höchsten to hike and enjoy the view

parking hoechsten deggenhausertal mountain travelblog joydellavita

If you are planning a trip to Deggenhausertal, you should definitely visit the highest mountain in the region. Arrive by car, park at the mountain Höchsten to hike and enjoy the view. With over 837 meters above sea level, the plateaued peak is the highest elevation in Upper Swabia and the Linzgau. A journey is particularly recommended with the two-wheeler or car / camper. Some serpentines lead from Lake Constance or other corners of the Linzgau/Bodenseekreis/Oberschwaben region to the Höchsten, ideal therefore also for motorcyclists. Alone for the view only, already along the route and especially from the Höchsten top!
Check out the Travel Blogpost Archive for Deggenhausertal valley, Upper Swabia or Lake Constance for more tips on things to see and to in beautiful southern Germany.

There are two large parking lots on the mountain Höchsten, both are ideal as a starting point for hikes. One, somewhat smaller, is located in the immediate vicinity of the “Sender Ravensburg” as well as the “Aussichtspunkt Höchsten”, the other a little further away near the Berggasthof Höchsten. Both are free of charge, tickets or parking tickets or the like do not have to be bought.
