Restaurant on Top of A’Dam Lookout Tower Amsterdam

Nestled atop the iconic A’DAM Tower in Amsterdam, Ma’dam Restaurant offers an extraordinary culinary experience with a backdrop that’s equally breathtaking. My visit for lunch was nothing short of a gastronomic delight, coupled with sweeping views of Amsterdam’s city center that stretched as far as the eye could see.

Lunch at the A’Dam Lookout Tower Amsterdam

Upon entering Ma’dam, the atmosphere exuded sophistication, and the ambiance was refined yet inviting. The panoramic windows framed Amsterdam’s urban sprawl, creating an impressive setting for a memorable meal. The interior design was modern and sleek, allowing the views to take center stage.

For starters, I opted for the Salad with apple, beetroot, and wasabi dressing. The dish was a masterpiece of flavors and textures. The sweetness of the apple perfectly complemented the earthy notes of the beetroot, while the wasabi dressing added a delightful kick without overpowering the palate. It was a refreshing and innovative salad that set the tone for what was to come.

As a delightful prelude to the main course, a plate of fresh bread rolls was served with creamy butter. The bread was warm and crusty, a perfect canvas for the velvety butter. It was a simple yet effective touch that heightened the dining experience.

For my main course, I selected the Risotto with toasted bell pepper and goat cheese. This dish showcased the chef’s expertise in crafting complex flavors using locally sourced ingredients. The creamy risotto was a comforting canvas for the roasted bell pepper’s smoky sweetness and the tangy richness of the goat cheese. Every bite was a harmonious blend of taste sensations, and I savored each mouthful.

While the food alone would have made for a memorable meal, what truly set Ma’dam apart was the astonishing view. Facing south, I was treated to an uninterrupted vista of Amsterdam’s city center. The city’s canals, historic buildings, and bustling streets unfolded below, and it was a mesmerizing sight that added an extra layer of enchantment to the dining experience.

Moreover, the A’DAM Tower boasts Madam Skybar on its 20th floor, which transforms into Amsterdam’s highest skybar after sunset.
