Looking for a splendid lunch place,? Check out The Real Greek London! The Real Greek is a chain of Greek Restaurants all across the city. One of them is located on the southern Terrace of Westfield Shopping Centre, located close to the Shepherd’s Bush Underground Station. Greek Flatbread, Tzatziki, or Chicken Skewers take you on an immediate Trip to Greece. Authentic Food and a nice chilly atmosphere, I really enjoyed my visit to The Real Greek London at Westfield Shopping Centre.

During the Day and in the evening The Real Greek offers special Menus of mixed plates, the Lunch Menu for £8.95 and the Dinner Menu for £10.95. As I went to TRG during the Afternoon I was still able to order the Lunch Menu, as it’s served until 5pm. The Restaurant offers some seating spaces outside, as well as inside of course. With a soft breeze it was a great location on a summer afternoon. Right after being able to choose a Table I received a bottle of Tap Water while deciding what to choose, how I like this Service! For the Lunch Menu you can choose between a Greek Trio, a Greek Skewer Plate or Warm Chicken or Halloumi Salad. With a desire to taste as much as possible, and cravings for fresh Tzatziki, I went for the Greek Trio. First you can choose between Greek Flatbread or Crudités, with two dips or sauces. Followed by a ‘Main Dish’ such as Lamb Kefte, Falafel or grilled Aubergine & Halloumi, followed by a third dish such as Rice or Chips. As you can see in the Pictures below, and above, I went for Greek Flatbread with Hoummous and Tzatziki, Falafel and Chips. Right a few minutes after already the Flatbread and the two Dips arrived, soon followed by my hot dishes. Unfortunately the Hoummous had already a thin coat, but it still tasted well. The Highlight were the Falafel served on a spicy yoghurt and tahini dip, with pickled cabbage, a tomato and onion salsa, all sprinkled with sweet paprika. You could easily share the Trio with someone else, or order 6 dishes in total and try something from everything.

I absolutely enjoyed my Greek Lunch at The Real Greek London Westfield and can absolutely recommend the Location, especially in the summer. The Restaurant is located just next to Gourmet Burger Kitchen, where I previously had the Falafel Burger and Skinny Fries. Very close there is as well Jamie’s Italian Westfield Restaurant and Cooking School. Unfortunately it took quite a while to pay, I had to wait 15 minutes after requesting to pay, but besides that the staff was always friendly and attentive. I’ll be definitely back at The Real Greek in London.
