The Ulm Christmas market is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Germany. Directly neighbouring the famous Ulm Minster are numerous stalls with one handmade and culinary highlight after the other. Over 140 stands line up on Münsterplatz and are open this year until Sunday, December 22, 2019. Well, if you did not make it this year, or if you haven’t visited the market as often as you wished you did, there is a remedy. And that’s the anticipation, this is the most beautiful joy, isn’t it? The anticipation for the upcoming Christmas market in Ulm.

Date Ulm Christmas Market 2020
The coming pre-Christmas season traditionally begins in Ulm with the tree position for the Ulm Christmas market. This will take place on November 11, 2020, at Münsterplatz. Then the busy construction of the numerous booths and stands begins, and soon it will finally be time. The Ulm Christmas market will be officially opened on November 23, 2020. In the coming year, it will last until Tuesday, December 22, 2020.

Impressions from this year’s Christmas market in Ulm on Münsterplatz
This year, after many, many years, I finally visited the Christmas market in Ulm again. The number of stalls (144 in 2019) is really overwhelming, but with such an extensive choice, no one can state that he would not have been full of delicious food or could not have found anything to give away as a Christmas present… The numerous beautifully decorated stalls, the lights, the living crib, everything right around the Ulm Minster, all of this creates a really uniquely charming atmosphere. Even if the weather is not quite as Christmassy in terms of temperature, you can absolutely enjoy the market even at plus degrees. Whether punch or mulled wine, waffle or sausage. And watch the live animals or the stuffed ones in the Steiff window. I’m already looking forward to the Ulm Christmas Market 2020, which I will definitely visit again. I definitely blocked the appointment above 🙂
