On June 17th it was the Day of the official World Premiere of the brand new 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLC. I went to Metzingen in the south of Germany, south of Stuttgart, to join the event. It was just a static presentation, so we were not yet allowed to drive the new GLC, but to have a very close look on it and to sit inside. Travelling by Car allows you to be more independent and spontaneous. And if needed you can stay overnight in your Roadtrip Car as well. If you are planning on travelling Europe by Car the roads are, if you are using motorways, most of the time quite good and not very bumpy. But nevertheless, if you plan a long car trip the vehicle should be comfortable. Not that you enjoy the Trip itself more, also it’s important if you want to reach your destination not too exhausted. the 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLC
The Mercedes-Benz GLC is the new name of the former GLK-Class and undoubtedly part of the emerging SUV-Section. But besides just being huge it features a ton of new safety standards. They will not only help you behind the wheel and inside the car, it’s also more safe for everyone around you. Some of the new driver assistance systems are the Collision prevention assist plus, a crosswind assist as well as an attention assist. Some additional new features are the PRE‑SAFE® Brake with pedestrian detection or an active lane keeping assist. If this sounds like Chinese to you, they are for example braking if some person or animal are running right in front of you, even before you even realize what happens. Or they help you to keep in your lane on the highway, even if there are some heavy winds. It’s
not yet available as a fully electric car but as a Hybrid Version that drives a few kilometre fully electric – yay!
