Monaco, there is probably no country with an amount this high in millionaires, billionaires, and ultra-expensive cars in central Europe. Supercars are in Monaco not mainly for showing off only, but just a regular form of transportation. Why driving a Fiat if you could drive a limited edition McLaren with butterfly doors?!
Where to go Carspotting in Monaco
Basically all you have to do, to see expensive and exclusive cars, is to walk and observe the traffic. Even on a regular day, you can count dozens of Ferrari, Porsche, Rolls Royce and so on. To sport even more exclusive cars, you have to have a little bit of luck or knowledge about where to go. Monaco isn’t huge with its land size of only 2.020 km2, you can easily walk around the whole country in a day.
Monte Carlo Casino
If there is an area with an even more expensive cappuccino than at Café de Paris right next to the famous Casino in Monaco? Probably not. As a guest, you are definitely paying for the location, a very good one in the case of the square in front of the Monte Carlo Casino. Once opened in 1863, the Casino is not only attracting high-betting gamblers, it’s also the place to show off during both summer and winter months. If your car is fancy enough you can enjoy parking right in front of the casino, and don’t have to park in an underground. Of course, not only the Monte Carlo Casino attracts thousands of tourists a day, but the sports cars are also a highlight, not only for true carspotters in Monaco.

Fairmont Hairpin
Probably the most famous hairpin of the annual Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix is the hairpin right in front of the Fairmont Hotel. If you want to see and/or photograph the cars driving, situate yourself somewhere in this area. There are actually also plenty of options to sit and do Carspotting in Monaco. One I’d recommend, to see the cars from right above, is the Starbucks at the Fairmont. Otherwise, the steps leading from the Fairmont to the Casino are a good position to endure as well.
Parking Garages
A more controversial place to go carspotting are the public parking garages in Monaco. Easiest accessed if you’re anyway parking your car inside, you can have a look at all the beauties parking. Some are even utterly covered in dust, some look like they have been taken straight out of a car dealership.
Top Marques Monaco – THE event for supercars
Top Marques Monaco is the world’s only live luxury automobile show, taking place annually in early spring. In 2019, the event will be at Espace Fontvieille from April 11th – 14th. The exclusive cars aren’t exhibited only, of course, an event of this kind attracts owners of equal stunning vehicles. This year around 40,000 visited this 4-day event in Monaco.
