If you are looking for premium artisanal ice-cream in Ravensburg, there is a new place in town: clausgemacht. Newly opened in May of 2022 the small shop only offers ice-cream. In premium artisanal quality. But, not only ice-cream. A claim by the shop situated at Gespinstmarkt in the heart of Ravensburg is “Spatula ice cream in summer | Neapolitan pizza in winter”.
During the summer months they offer ice-cream portioned by spatula, and in winter they want to offer Neapolitan-style pizza. A great concept!

What clausgemacht offers is anything but average. For sure you will also happily find classics such as vanilla or chocolate flavors on their menu (choose between two different chocolates), but also unusual varieties. Have you ever tried gelatos tasting like Mascarpone Sea Buckthorn Carrot, Rhubarb Woodruff or Black Garlic Lime? Besides these fancy flavors they also offer other classics such as Strawberry, Stracciatella, Lemon, Walnut, Vanilla, Raspberry, Pistachio, Hazelnut, Yoghurt and Sea Buckthorn.
The prices at clausgemacht Ravensburg are as the following: small (1-2 flavors) 2,60 €, middle (3 flavors) 3,60 €, big (4 flavors) 4,60 €. The price for a children’s portion is 1,50 €.
I definitely did like my dark chocolate and vanilla ice cone, however have not been too satisfied by the homemade cone as it was quite unstable and broke multiple times by just licking the thick cream. The ice-cream is definitely rich in cream, not as watery as you will often get at other ice-cream parlors, and quite similar to Il Gelato Mennella in Naples, my personal favorite ice-cream. I will get a paper cup the next time! And am absolutely looking forward to their Pizza creations in winter. Will they again offer unusual premium combinations and flavors? Or just the classic in top-notch quality?
