The Festival of Lights in Ravensburg was an illuminating spectacle. Finally, something is happening in the city again, albeit, with masks. Give free rein to your own creativity, design your own or join in the fun, the Festival of Lights in Ravensburg in Upper Swabia was a participatory event. But visitors also enjoyed the event. The event of the Kapuziner Kreativzentrum Ravensburg took place on Saturday 9 April 2022. A non-profit event that attracted thousands of visitors to the historic old town. Festival of Lights in Ravensburg in 2022

The Lichterfest started at 8:15 p.m. at dusk, when numerous groups or individuals set off with their works. The procession started near the Ravensburg Museum, led almost down to Marienplatz, and then circled back up to Gänsbühl. People, young and old, stood in several rows and enjoyed the figures. It was great that such a mass event was finally possible again, but to watch in the cold darkness, partly better and worse illuminated figures, without music, was partly a bit boring. At the beginning, a music group marched in front of the troop of lights, but at such a snail’s pace…
