Since the beginning of September, the city center has been enriched by a delicious hotspot, a patisserie in Ravensburg. The traditional house Weber & Weiss from Friedrichshafen has opened a branch, the first in another city. Under the melodious and promising name “Weber & Weiss Konditorei Patisserie Chocolaterie“, visitors will find innovative as well as all-time favorites. For such an almost antiquated region, it is wonderfully refreshing to find drinks like “Iced Coffee” on the menu.

Sweet French flair is already available in Ravensburg, in a French restaurant as well as a French bistro with savory dishes in a nearby fashion house. But what makes this new patisserie in Ravensburg so special? It is influenced by the now fourth generation of the confectionery family around the institution “Weber & Weiss” from Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance. In just a few years they will celebrate their centenary anniversary. Even as the offered desserts already got a modern re-make in the past years, partly not better or tastier from long-standing customer view, also much new and much modernity was added.
The Weber & Weiss Patisserie Chocolaterie in Ravensburg offers a large selection of macarons, patisserie tarts, as well as classic cakes and a small selection of daily fresh snacks such as sandwiches or croissants. On my first visit I had a “chocolate eclair” for 3.90 euros which was decorated with chocolate mousse (actually the filling), but filled with raspberry. Hrhm.. On second occasion I had only three macarons, for a price of 1,90 Euro a piece, which were delicious.
