An Oyster Bar is usually not the first address for a vegetarian, however, my fish- and meat-free options at KATA4 oyster bar Donostia San Sebastian have been incredible. With so many excellent restaurants and Pinchos Bar options available all across the City, it would be a shame to only eat at one place. The Tapas culture anyway emphasises you to try a lot, so why not going on a self-guided Pinchos Tour in Donostia San Sebastian!?
I started my Lunch-Restaurant-Sightseeing-Walk at KATA4 oyster bar Donostia San Sebastian, right nearby my incredible Hotel, the Luxury Collection Hotel Maria Cristina. The Interior of the Restaurant is a tasteful mix of colourful tiles and modern details. Exactly as the menu (see a link to it below), a good combination of old classics with a modern mix. As a Group, we enjoyed buckets of fresh Oysters, ham and toasted bread with shaved tomatoes. As a vegetarian, I received some extra plates, in form of mixed seasonal vegetables, which were already very good, but were ultimately topped by the fried artichoke with potato mash. Crispily fried leaves, a very tasty dip paired with soft potato mash, what a combination!
