In the southern Countries of Europe, such as Spain, it’s usual to eat later in the evening, what sometimes makes me starve for hours. No, often I’m not having any snacks (or Tapas / Apperitivo) beforehand, as I know a great dinner is awaiting me. And Dinner at Bestial Barcelona Restaurant right by San Sebastian beach did not disappoint at all. Like not at all, regarding anything. The Location is prime, the service super professional and attentive and the Food more than delicious. Passing the famous Balena in bronzo di Frank Gehry, right by Port Olímpic, you will be able to watch the sunset behind the famous W Hotel, all while watching people enjoying the beach, going on their own catwalk on their way to a restaurant or some playing sports until it’s ultimately dark.
Besides a Menu offering something for everyone, you can find the link below under the contact details, I had a set menu during my visit to Bestial Barcelona. How should it be different, Dinner started with Tapas for everyone. Delicious Bread, a small glass of Gazpacho and either Acorn-fed Iberian ham, flatbread with tomato or Gorgonzola cheese croquettes (so creamy!) for the vegetarians. Next was the starter, Buffalo Mozzarella Salad with Avocado and Lime Vinaigrette, followed by the main course for the non-animal-eating fraction, Vegetable Paella / Paella de Verduras. A not too heavy end to this dinner was the dessert, two scoops of Frozen Yoghurt & Blackberries with mint.
I wrote it before and will definitely continue to do so, the best Restaurants are the ones right by the water. Barcelona with it’s marvellous San Sebastian Beach offers so many culinary delights at the best location. Dinner at Bestial Barcelona during the setting sun over the Mediterranean, what a recommendable experience! The only thing missing was some music outdoor. Otherwise, only have to stay long enough, when the restaurant turns into a Club, Bestial Beach Club, with live music and super cool visual instalments on the walls inside.
