Experience some of Hamburg’s most famous corners on a leisurely 6 km walk. This Hamburg sightseeing walk takes you from the Hafencity and Speicherstadt, via the Landungsbrücken along the Elbe to St. Pauli to the Reeperbahn, and back again via the Landungsbrücken. A short excursion that can be undertaken in winter as well as in summer, and the seasons in between. If you want to extend the walk, you can make a detour through the Elbe tunnel to reach this beautiful vantage point on Hamburg. Then the walk is extended by at least another 800 metres, to a total of almost 7 kilometres.
You can discover so much more on foot than on a bike, in a car or on a tour bus. There is so much to discover along the route, such as the Elbphilharmonie Plaza, one of the two docked ships/museum ships, the former Soviet submarine, or restaurants such as Bidges&Sons or how about a restaurant serving the local speciality pannfish? If you are traveling alone, visiting Reeperbahn during the day is “safer” than during the evening or night.
