Having Truffle Mac n’ Cheese for Lunch at The Farm of Beverly Hills in Los Angeles was just so nice. Enjoying authentic Mac n’ Cheese in the US is definitely a must for any Tourists, to get a glimpse of the everyday dish that is mentioned in so many movies. The Farm of Beverly Hills is a cute Restaurant located on North Beverly Drive, in the fashionable area that is Beverly Hills. The Interior is charming and thanks to the open design it’s perfect to share a table with friends and just chat along. For an ultimate American restaurant experience, I went with an Iced Tea along my Truffle Mac n’ Cheese. Not like the rather sweet Iced Teas you get in Europe, by Lipton or Nestea, the Iced Tea at The Farm of Beverly Hills was not sweet at all, and you had to individually pour sugar packets into it, which I refused. Still, it was a very refreshing drink that was refilled by the personnel at The Farm all the time during my visit. In the afternoon the Farm of Beverly Hills was still very popular with most tables occupied, both in and outside. Still, the staff was always friendly and welcoming and all the orders of our table were brought at the same time. As I wasn’t that hungry, even though the available breakfast options until 3 pm sounded very very tempting, I just went for a portion of Truffle Mac n’ Cheese for $8.85. Even though it just worked as a lunch-snack to me, the portion could have been a little bigger. Unlike the German-Austrian-Swiss version of cheese noodles, Käsespätzle, the Mac n’ Cheese were quite fluid but still with a good amount of melted cheese. I’d definitely eat them again, the next time probably with a salad on the side. However, on North Beverly Drive you can now also find a Laduree with authentic French macaroons, they go very well for a dessert-afternoon-snack.
