To find and eat the best Falafel in Nice, you should visit the area south of the Gare de Nice-Ville train station. Streets lined with one street food shop next to the other, offering dishes from all over the world. To get my Falafel cravings satisfied, I went to “Nice Falafel Shop”. Unlike the name of the small storefront in Rue de Belgique implies, “Nice Falafel Shop” does not only sell Falafel but also Kefta (minced meat) and Poulet (chicken). Enjoy your Falafel, Kefta and Chicken either in a sandwich or box. Always ready to be eaten on the go. Choose between the main dish only, or in combination with Fries and/or a soft drink. As a quick evening snack, I went for a Falafel Sandwich. Usually, Falafel Sandwichs are filled with Salad, some white sauce and Falafel. A blunt but delicious combination, highlighting the aromatic taste of the chickpea ball ideally. For the first time, I have now actually enjoyed a highly flavourful Falafel Sandwich, at Nice Falafel Shop. My Sandwich has been filled with Salad, Onions, Hummus, Olives, fried onions, cucumber a red paste (harissa?!) and grilled eggplant. A very tasty sandwich, with the most crispy falafel I had since years. The price of 5€ per Sandwich was definitely justified by the varied and plentiful fillings, in addition to the 4 Falafel balls. I can definitely recommend Nice Falafel Shop!
