Situated in Bad Cannstatt, near the River Neckar, you can enjoy your meal either inside the Restaurant, or order it for take-away to devour into the arabic specialities somewhere near the water. First opened in summer 2020, the start for Ya Ghali Restaurant Bad Cannstatt has been tough. Opening just after the Coronavirus restrictions have been first slowly lifted, but they have settled in just well by now. my Dinner at Ya Ghali Syrian Restaurant in Stuttgart Bad Cannstatt

Walking towards Ya Ghali Restaurant from the Bad Cannstatt train station, you will pass many old buildings and structures. Half a millennium old houses to be precise. Such a lovely area to take a stroll. And suddenly, you are in front of a Syrian Restaurant offering authentic dishes. The atmosphere inside was relaxed, despite the summery temperatures outside. The grill for the chicken on the rotating skewer heated up the inside even more, but it was still just pleasant. A quick Dinner, something other than the typical swabian, asian or italian food that you get at every corner in Germany. You can only find the menu of this syrian Restaurant in Stuttgart Bad Cannstatt on their Google Maps, right here: https://goo.gl/maps/RSN7mKHsz9TRXWqG8 Go to pictures and then to the Menu-Tab, to view screenshots of their on-site menu board and leaflets.

For our Syrian Dinner we went for a Falafel plate with 8 pieces of falafel, vegetables, hummus and sesame sauce for 7 euros, Shawarma plate with Chicken Shawarma, garlic mayonnaise paste, fries, pickled cucumber, coleslaw and vegetables for 9 euros and a can of cola each for 2 euros. 20 Euros for a quick sit-down dinner, perfect! The portion size was just right, not too less and not too much to feel absolutely full.
However, for the Falafel plate I would have loved to have just some potato fries as well. Or just something else carb-y to bite on. But other than that, the chicken was perfectly cooked and crisp, the pickled veggies salty and tasty and the hummus more than amazing. And, the Falafel have, finally, been better than the ones I once had in Antalya and have been raving about ever since. I highly recommend a visit to Ya Ghali Restaurant in Stuttgart Bad Cannstatt!
