A super budget hotel, still in a good location. What else do you wish for, as a tourist? ibis budget Hamburg City in Amsinckstraße is a great hotel for stays in the Hanseatic city. May it be just for a one-night stay, or a whole week, budget still does good. For my personal one-night stay in Hamburg, I booked myself this Hotel due to multiple reasons. It was cheap, centrally located near the main train station as well as the city and Hafencity, and as I have previously stayed in multiple ibis hotels (ibis, ibis styles and ibis budget), I knew what’s awaiting me. Not much, actually, but as everything looks the same everywhere, I was super ok with it.

Each room at ibis budget Hamburg City features an own bathroom, with a separate toilet, and a shower quite next to the bed. My room featured two single beds, however double beds, as well as three-bed rooms, are available as well. Each room has its own, small, TV, as well as a small table with a chair and an open wardrobe right next to the window. The cleanliness was okay, despite a decent smell of smoke, even though it’s a non-smoking room. hair dryers could be borrowed from the reservation desk in the lobby. Overall I did absolutely enjoy my stay in Hamburg, at ibis budget Hamburg City, and can definitely recommend this hotel.
