Close to the Ponte Vecchio bridge, you can enjoy healthy juices, smoothies and delicious gelato ice cream at Isolaverde Florence. A café in a prime location, front row to the Arno, on the southern side of the city. Especially on a hot summer day, you often only want one thing: refreshment. If you haven’t drunk enough during the day, you should give your body some extra nutrients. All that sightseeing, all that walking, possibly additional stress from queuing at ticket offices and fighting your way through the crowds at the very special works of art in the Uffizi. Here you need a short rest for your body.
And it was at this moment that I came across Isolaverde Florence. A gelateria and juice bar in one. For a refreshment, I opted for a small juice with orange and pineapple. In a plastic cup ToGo and sat on the bank of the Arno to enjoy. With a direct view of the Ponte Vecchio bridge, and a light breeze blowing through the river. Wonderful. I can’t recommend the ice cream as I haven’t tried it, but the smoothie juices are delicious and recommended!
