Staying at Novo Hotel Rossi Verona near the Train Station

Novo Hotel Rossi Verona is a nice 3-star hotel close to the Porta Nuova train station of Verona. Hotels in the districts close to main train stations are usually not a good place to stay, however, Novo Hotel Rossi Verona is located in sufficient distance to both noise and “weird people” hanging around the station. The Hotel does not only offer complimentary breakfast, they also have free parking next to the Hotel as well as a free of charge bike rental. Of course, WiFi is complimentary as well!

Novo Hotel Rossi is a typical Italian “simple Hotel”, but absolutely clean and with all the amenities you could ask for as a tourist. My single room was located on the first floor, which could be reached via stairs or a lift. Even though my room was located right next to the lift, I haven’t heard much of it. My room wasn’t quite spacious, yet well enough for me for a one-night stay. It featured a comfy bed, flatscreen-tv, table with a stool, minibar, closed and a bathroom with a shower, amenities, hairdryer and bidet. What else do you need, especially for this definitely good price for staying at Novo Hotel Rossi!

Staff at Novo Hotel Rossi speak perfect English and have always been friendly and super helpful giving recommendations about Verona. Additionally, Novo Hotel Rossi is an official sales point of Verona Card, a card I can highly recommend for tourists to explore a lot of what Verona has to offer, at an affordable rate (public transport is included as well). Nice to mention is also that I got free wifi codes for all my four devices, which is definitely rare (usually you get two per room/guest). Breakfast is served every morning and I can definitely recommend it as well. The Cappuccino was made fresh on request and you were even able to boil eggs in hot water for as long as you personally wish for (soft-boiled, hard-boiled, you choose). Additionally, the buffet offered a limited selection of various bread, cured meat/cheese, as well as muesli, fruits and various sweets (croissants, cakes,…). You should definitely take advantage of the included breakfast!

I have absolutely enjoyed staying at Hotel Rossi Verona and can definitely recommend this 3-star hotel if you’re either arriving by bus (FlixBus), Train or Car and looking for a conveniently located Hotel.
