The Qatar Airways Qsuite Business Class is definitely setting standards, high standards. Just introduced in March of 2017 the Qsuite by Qatar Airways will be rolled out in all the airlines’ Boeing 777-300ER planes until the end of 2018, giving Business Class passengers the possibly best flight experience you can get in Business Class. Privacy and Comfort are just two of the main-improvements the Qsuite offers passengers, compared to the previous layout. The “old” layout is a 2-2-2 seat layout, which only gives 6 out of 8 people per row direct aisle access. What an improvement!
Qatar Airways Qsuite is when flying becomes the actual experience to look for. More than 17 hours in an aeroplane might seem pretty awful for many people. However, after landing in Canberra, after flying all the way from Doha, I actually didn’t want to leave. Qsuite was introduced by Qatar Airways during ITB Travel Fair in Berlin 2017 and has since been equipped with their Boeing 777-300ER Aircrafts. Their existing ones are one after another refitted, a process which will still take some months to be fully completed.
So far, the „First in Business“ Qsuite Product is only available in the Boeing 777-300ER, however, Qatar Airways plans on installing a similar product to their 787-9 aircraft and the Business Class in the Airbus A380 will as well be refitted. As the Qsuite is patented by Qatar Airways, and built to fit inside the Triple Seven, it’s not quite possible to move the exact same seats to other airplanes, therefore a completely new product is currently being designed for the 787-9 which will not offer the possibility for Quad-Seats, however, it will be in a 1-2-1 setting, offer full privacy and the seats itself will actually be 22% lighter than compared to the current 777 Qsuite seats. There are definitely great times coming up for Business Class travellers with Qatar Airways.
