People’s Viennaline is a small Airline based at St. Gallen Altenrhein Airport closely to Rorschach in Switzerland. Their main route is connecting Vienna with Altenrhein, so said from one to the other end of Austria. From November 2016 to April 2017 they had another Route for a brief time, from St. Gallen Altenrhein via Friedrichshafen to Cologne. The Flights from Friedrichshafen to St. Gallen Altenrhein and vice versa have even made it to the Guinness World Records for the shortest international commercial flight in the world. In just 8 minutes you were crossing Lake Constance, in an Embraer 170 machine. Eventually, the Line to Cologne was cancelled completely, of course including the short hop over the Lake.
This Airline Review of my People’s Viennaline Flight from Cologne to Friedrichshafen might not help anyone, as this Route does not even exist anymore, but I hope it can give you at least some insight into how it is to fly with People’s Viennaline.
