The best Places to go Shopping are often known by locals and often some hidden Spots. But as a Traveler, you often simply don’t have the time to figure out where the best Stores are. If you are visiting Stuttgart and want to know Where to go Shopping in Stuttgart? , here I have some suggestions for you.
Where to go Shopping in Stuttgart
As Stuttgart is located in Swabia, known as a saving region, most of the shops are rather in the mid-price segment, for sure you find many Luxury Shops in Stuttgart as well as a Primark. Stuttgart offers so much for everyone. Here are a few examples of bigger Shopping Malls, Contemporary Stores, and Outlet Shopping near Stuttgart in Metzingen.
MILANEO
Milano is a newly built Shopping Center near the Train Station, at the Municipal Library (“Stadtbibliothek”). From Clothes, Shoes, Home Decor, and Electronics you can find there many restaurants and Cafés as well. Just like the German Burger Chain Hans im Glück Stuttgart. One of the main Attractions is the PRIMARK Store, one of just a few overall in Germany. Primark offers clothes for unbelievably cheap prices, Suitcases, modern items and basics like Plain T-Shirts and Tops starting from 2€. Other Fashion Stores inside Milaneo in Stuttgart are ZARA, S.Oliver, Bonita, and much more. Check out the full retailer List on the official website.

Das Gerber
Das Gerber is a Shopping Center in the southern City Center of Stuttgart. With more than 1 km of Display window frontage, it’s just huge. Das Gerber opened in September 2014 and currently, there are 86 Shops inside. In the base, you can find Supermarkets like ALDI or EDEKA. The other Stores are offering Food, Drinks, and Clothes. Among the renowned Fashion brands at Das Gerber are Urban Outfitters, Superdry, Mango, Calzedonia and much more. Find here the full overview of Brands and Stores.

Breuninger
Definitely more exclusive and expensive is Breuninger in the City Center, close to the old market hall. Offering Celiné Bags, Tiffany & Co Jewelry, Clothes and much more. Breuninger is not just a huge fashion paradise for women, there are also sections for men. There are often Events taking place at Breuninger, like recently a Tennis Match with Roger Federer. Follow Breuninger on Instagram or Facebook to stay updated.

Breuninger StuttgartOutlet Shopping in Metzingen near Stuttgart
If you fancy some Outlet Shopping in Stuttgart you should go on a Trip to Metzingen close to Stuttgart. From Stuttgart’s Central Train Station, it takes you just 42 Minutes with a regional train, departing every 30 Minutes. Outletcity Metzingen is like a small village with Outlet Stores and Cafés in between. As the Hugo Boss Headquarters are in Metzingen as well I can personally recommend visiting their Outlet Store as well, both got Women and Men. You can check out the Brand Overview on their Website, to always stay updated.

Besides Shopping for Clothes, if you rather prefer to buy Food and Drinks, I can recommend the Stuttgart Market Hall close to the City Center and next to Breuninger. I already wrote about the famous Stuttgarter Markthalle here in this Article.
