Rossopomodoro Venice near St Mark's Square

Rossopomodoro Venice is located near St Mark’s Square and an ideal option for Lunch or Dinner. Venice, the floating City, is known to be expensive. Especially close to the main sights like the St. Mark’s Square or Rialto Bridge the Prices increase. Rossopomodoro Venice is located in a backstreet of St Mark’s Basilica and just one of many Restaurants in Venice, but one you can definitely trust. Rossopomodoro is an international Chain that is offering Italian Food, from Pasta and Pizza to Tiramisu and Espresso.

When entering Rossopomodoro Venice near St Mark’s Square is first looks like a very cosy and small place, but it’s actually a really big Restaurant even with seats in the upper level. The Service was really attentive and I ordered Spaghetti Pomodoro, with cocktail tomatoes. As bread is complimentary I enjoyed my Pasta with Bread, just as the Italians do it. The Spaghetti were al dente and the sauce very tasty. In total, I paid 20 Euros for the Spaghetti, a large Coke and an Espresso. For sure you can eat for almost half the Price in Bergamo, but compared to Venice and the Location it was absolutely okay. As the Food was good and the atmosphere nice I’ll definitely eat again at Rossopomodoro Venice near St Mark’s Square.

On 2nd July we came to venice at about 5 pm. We were hungry and because we saw the comments about you in foursquare we entered in your restaurant. While we were getting inside there was nobody at the gate welcoming us , nobody showed us a table so we sat at a table which we found. Then in the 10 minutes nobody cleaned our table, nobody brought menu so we had to take even the menu by ourselves. Then your waiter with no hair came and start to shout us and told us “how uneducated people we are to behave like this!”
    Wordt place in venice!

Oh, I’m so sorry to hear your bad experience Nurcin! Probably they were just “too annoyed” by the touristy-summer season :/ Hope you anyway found something good to eat!
