Mother Teresa Memorial House in Skopje

She is probably the world’s best-known citizen of Skopje, Mother Teresa. In 2009, the memorial house was opened in the centre of the state capital of North Macedonia. The Mother Teresa statue is right next door on the shopping street. The Mother Teresa Memorial House is not only a museum, it also houses a small chapel and a museum shop. Visiting the exhibition on the first floor (and the second with a chapel) is free of charge and accessible every day of the week. Even the current Pope Francis already visited the memorial house in Skopje in 2019, so should you!
The Mother Teresa Memorial House is actually one of the few attractions and museums in Skopje that is also open on Mondays.
Below for you not only pictures but also a short video with impressions of the Mother Teresa memorial house in Skopje.
