How to enjoy your beach day at Bar Azzurro in Rimini

Friendly and fast service, as well as numerous tables and chairs around the building, provide enough reason to spend an enjoyable time here. Especially in the afternoon, you can sit in the sun-protected area, and still feel something of the fresh Adriatic breeze. Gorgeous! On a still-warm September afternoon, I opted for a caffeinated drink, a Caffè Shakerato. Freshly brewed espresso, mixed with a little syrup and ice cubes for a refreshing drink. Highly recommended, especially for the price of only 2.50 euros.

The Azzurro Bar is open from 7 am to 8 pm, daily, during ”the season”. The typical bathing season in Rimini is from Easter / around mid-April all the way to mid-September. August is a typical holiday month in Italy and is usually pretty busy. The beaches will be flocked by locals (who live in the countryside and are not nearby a shore) as well as international tourists.
