All public transport of the South Tyrolean integrated transport network
With the BrixenCard you can enjoy your excursion and benefit from all the advantages of a regional bus and rail public transport network. Use the BrixenCard to travel to all the South Tyrolean sights and highlights of nature. You benefit twice! Your BrixenCard entitles you also to the free use of the cable cars Renon, Maranza, San Genesio, Meltina, Verano and Colle as well as the narrow gauge railway Renon, the funicular railway up Mendola and the Val Venosta railway.

City Bus Bressanone
With the BrixenCard you enjoy all the benefits of the Bressanone City Bus. You reach all starting points for your hikes in the surrounding area. Because of the very user-friendly timetable you have plenty of flexibility in planning your day.

The following means of transport can be used free of charge and without restrictions:

  • All regional trains in South Tyrol to Trento (marked in the time-table with an R).
  • All city and regional buses in South Tyrol
  • The cable cars to Renon, Maranza, San Genesio, Meltina, Verano and Colle
  • The narrow gauge railway Renon and the funicular railway up Mendola
  • A return journey with the PostAuto Schweiz from Malles to Müstair

Validation: Your ticket must be voided on all public transport on every journey (the destination does not have to be declared).

One return ride with the Plose cable cars
In summer and winter: the Bressanone local mountain is fascinating for all who love sports and relaxation. In the summer months the outdoor swimming pool invites: 3.000 m² of water and a large lawn area offer health, fun and action.

Your advantage: free entry to the pool area (except Sundays and bank holidays) for 2.5 hours (indoor pool season) or 3 hours (outdoor pool season). Entry is according to the terms & conditions of the BrixenCard. Sauna and “bodywell” are not included in the BrixenCard.

How and where to get BrixenCard

BrixenCard is only available for tourists staying in Bressanone in South Tyrol. Guests will receive the Card upon check-in at their hotel or accommodation (apartment, bed&breakfast, …). The BrixenCard is not available at every Hotel in the City, so better make sure to check out the link below, if your preferred hotel does offer this priceless advantage. Depending on how many activities you want to use, choosing another Hotel can save you quite some cost for museum entries, transportation and more.
